The first is entitled "Audio-Video Computer Assisted Self
Interview (AV-CASI) of Blood Donors" by L. Rogenski,

Traditional Blood Donor Screening: Initial Results" by Thomas
F. Zuck, MD, Chief Executive Officer of the Hoxworth Blood Center,
and others at the 1999 American Association of Blood Banks Annual
Meetings November 9, 1999. The presentation covers results
of National Heart Lung & Blood Institute supported (HL61111) Phase
I Small Business Innovation Research grant for pilot testing the
Windows 9x stand alone work station QDS technology customized
to Hoxworth's donor medical history (HQDS). The presentation is
in Flash format, including Dr. Zuck's audio from a tape
of the original presentation, and covers results from almost 300
donor satisfaction surveys and automated computer logs of medical
history interviews of near 400 donors with Hoxworth staff
reviewers and additional cost/benefit considerations. (File size:
